Okay, so I think they've got enough shows out there now that we can do a "best of" list.
I nominate:
"Twice The Baki, Twice The Love" First episode ever and still a good one. Dave and Joel talk about Grappler Baki and giant Polacks that live in the mountains of Japan and hunt gorillas. Bonus points for the beeping smoke detector in the background.
"Candy Corn Soda" Dave and Joel discuss Scary Videogames, and try to imagine what a masculine scream of terror would sound like.
"The Worm Scene" The podcast we were waiting for since the first episode, and it took them more than two years to do it: WICKED CITY.
Poison: (Un)fortunately, there is unlimited humor in others bringing misfortune upon themselves.
Did I just have sex???: First one I watched, and still my favorite. I finally watched Ninja scroll, and now I like it even more.
Hideo Kojima: Voice of the masses: It shows the amazing focusing ability of hatred. I would also cite "being able to hate something a lot of people like, and put up a valid and intelligent argument for yourselves", but that's a common theme in almost every episode.
This is it, because they're the only ones I remember, when I listened to them all in a very condensed amout of time. (I'm still trying to find a certain one I don't remember except for the quote " 'I don't think you should go in there..' 'FUCK YOU WE'RE DOING IT!' "... Add that to the list too probably.)
I really like "In your house, drinking all your orange juices", if only for the discussions about those hilarious cat pictures. The review stuff was good too.
I love Detective Conan, so I get a kick out of it as well. There's also the added level of irony in the title, in that they make fun on Family Guy for the 45-second vomit joke, then include one in the podcast.
I also really liked Lock n Lorr, MAKAI TENSHO, But Seriously, You Still Gotta Die. Also some others, possibly Surfboards and Spinkicks or High-five to the FACE for 24 and Splinter Cell hilarity, in addition to the ones you mentioned.
There should be a Muppet Babies-like spin-off to this podcast, featuring all of the inchoate characters Dave and Joel created; like Little Toshi, Baby Tank, Hanabi...all of them raised with Tanaka as their nanny.
[quote="Dave"]We did do that one podcast with Daryl... Yeah, the one form the NY Animecon, and that was pretty awesome. Who needs all that fancy anime talk from Gerald and Clarissa. I heard a lot of that from the most recent Ninja Consultant podcast, where they recorded some anime trivia panel from Sitacon. Its just way more anime knowledge than I really care to know. I enjoy sitting back and pissing my wife off by yelling "Tetsuo!!!!!" along with Kaneda. I really don't want to be able to distinguish which animated cleavage is which. Also, they called the major from Ghost in the Shell a lesbian. I don't think any gal with that kind of junk in the trunk can bat for the other team.
[quote="Gokiburi_Chachacha"]Dave, Daryl, and Joel all had prevalent roles in the Most Dangerous Month. Somehow the world managed to survive. We must try harder next time.
Any suggestions?
EDIT: What am I thinking? The answer was right here in front of me the entire time.
Nick Cage's take on The Wickerman.
Holy crap, it's Paul Chapman! Just wanted to say you kick ass! I've wanted to see you do a Wickerman Podcast ever since the Next podcast when Dave said he licked the Wickerman DVD. The only thing better than The Almighty Gooberzilla teaming up with Dave and Joel again is the teaming up to talk about the master acting android that is The Cage!
"That's Prophylactic" is probably my favorite podcast; the bit about how the judge would ride away on an ostrich was priceless!

Wickerman is OK for amateur podcasts. what you really need is some .... http://i39.tinypic.com/28l89oz.jpg"%20border="0" but maybe you guys aren't man enough to handle the Hoss...

Like most Shirow characters, Motoko Kusanagi bats for BOTH teams.
Also Paul, if you do a big month of Nick Cage, I will personally fly to Florida and kill you.
[quote="superdeformed"]Hollywood needs to make a buddy cop movie starring Nicolas Cage and David Hasselhoff. Like a cheap Tango and Cash knockoff for the 21st century.
http://wackyneighbor.com/images/Holy-Shit.jpg It'd probably look something like this.
[quote="karaokeninja"]Also Paul, if you do a big month of Nick Cage, I will personally fly to Florida and kill you. Let's just say that something could be in the works...

That statement is retarded
Anyway, it is an imperative that this Wickerman podcast be recorded with D&J, AWO, DAPDX, and Greatest Movie EVER Can you say "cluster fuck"? I can

Holy shit, that would be horrible and awesome at the same time...I can see it now: Paul would introduce everyone, Daryll would summarize the plot point by point, Jeremy would talk about the original and connect to some weird fact, Dave would comment in a sexually devious manner, and Joel would laugh and connect it to Bubblegum Crisis. Wait...that wouldn't be horrible at all... ...Oh...oh no...I think I...yup...I blew a load...I'm gonna go change...
WE NAME HIM HANABI. HE GON BROW UP! I would consider the titular moment of this podcast to be one of the defining moments of how awesome Joel is. I choose this one also, even though it is pretty new.
Yes the episode where D&J talk about how fucked up Conan Etigawa would be when he grows up was awesome. "You haven't seen the things I have seen" "YOUR OFF THE FORCE ETIGAWA" "YOU CAN'T FIRE ME YOU NEED ME"! He eventually hangs himself and the Junior detective league comes in to solve the case and when they see Conan they just start throwing up on each other.... Ohhhh my worked hated me when I listened to that one.
It was one of those laughs where you are giggling and trying so hard to hold it in then they say something even better that you just scream out a huge HA!!! and scare the piss out of everyone in the office, good fucking times.
