  • That's good eating. Now that I have a job I wish I could go back to those days. I'd have so much money!
  • I had cheese brats with sliced cheese on cheese bread.
  • My university diet is ain't doing so hot. It consists of mainly apples, instant noodles, and tea, and what's left of the box of Ritz crackers. The apples are keeping me alive, while the tea keeps me awake (and gay).
  • Mmm, fried fish. Just some corn oil and a salmon filet from the store, and some sliced peppers. Cook it until it's no longer gelatinous, and then eat it.

I usually throw some Tang in mine, to ward off the scurvy.
  • Dr. Notti's recipe for amazing pickles:
    1) Get a jar of pickles.
    2) Put a generous amount of a habanero-based hot sauce in with the brine
    3) Allow to stand in fridge for 2-3 weeks.
    4) Enjoy the greatest pickles in the world.

  • A beagle that was made no more the 10min ago. it was still so warm I did not have to toast it.
  • [quote="fuzzyj"]Nothing brings people together more than mutual hatred. Thanks Dave.
Shouldn't it be something like this?

Anyway, I just finished eating the classic PB&J sandwich. I wanted to eat something simple.
  • [quote="fuzzyj"]A beagle that was made no more the 10min ago. it was still so warm I did not have to toast it.

That poor dog. What did he ever do to you?
  • Maybe it was out of hatred of the bitch from which it was born.

Is there some sort of hidden stomach I don't know about ?
I wouldn't eat that it's got salad on it.
  • pancakes, the usual sauce of choice (yogurt with a few spices..) baked beans FTW
  • Eating marshmallows, if that can be defined as food.
  • Last night I made an epic almost-healthy sandwich.

I used one of those old pressed sandwich thing from the 1970's to make it.

Anyway, whole wheat flax seed English muffins, tuna with a lil mayo and creole seasoning mixed together, and prepackaged sliced American cheese. Slap it in the pressed sandwich thing greased with "I can't believe it's not butter!" cook on each side for 2-3 minutes.

I was out of food and not expecting much, but goddamn, so good.
  • I had a urge to eat some Strawberry rhubarb pie the other day so i went to the store to get one. To make a long story short i got an apple, strawberry, rhubarb, raspberry and blackberry pie for free. It was the single greatest pie i have ever had

  • Walter Jon Williams: He writes, he cooks, he does karate. Truly a modern Renaissance Man.

I kind of want to make this just so that I can say I combined seven pounds of meat with one pound of butter.
  • Had homemade tacos for the first time in ages, and am cramming Ms Vicki's salt and vinegar in my face now.
  • Last night, I had a Lionshead - it's been almost a year, and I had forgotten how much I love that stuff.
  • Lion's Head is worth drinking if only because the logo is a roaring lion's head. It's not even a little abstract. It's just that.
  • [quote="xenomouse"]Last night, I had a Lionshead - it's been almost a year, and I had forgotten how much I love that stuff.

A long wait, and it exceeded your expectations? Doesn't sound like any Lionshead product I know.
  • I'm a fan of Lionshead. At $12 a case, it's probably the best taste-to-price beer ratio you can get.
  • [quote="The Joel"]Lion's Head is worth drinking if only because the logo is a roaring lion's head. It's not even a little abstract. It's just that.

    Yes it is.

I'm still waiting for someone to make a drink called Zardoz and the logo is a giant stone head.
