So I picked this up on impulse yesterday and played for around, lets say, 13 hours. Its more action oriented than most MMOs and it has animal people that are quite adorable.
I've made 3 characters right now. 11 - Slayer, 18 - Sorcerer, 11 - Warrior. Might make some more since getting off the starter island only takes like 3 hours or so. Sorcerer is fun but I like the warrior animations alot better. I've really gotten the hang of my abilities as a sorcerer now (more so than anything else), and I'm not dying that much anymore (even though a couple hits will still kill me).
I'm using the controller which is a super pleasant experience. Its really easy and intuitive to use.
Got kicked from a party for being too drunk to heal (I know I shouldn't be doing dungeons drunk). I don't blame them though, because I am pretty drunk right now (and not in any capacity to heal (or find the dungeon entrance))).
Bullshit! Drunk Dungeons are the best! Tanking a WoW dungeon, drunk, is a zen like experience. Drunk raids? Even better.
Though I admit, I got left alone a lot when drunk because my typing goes to complete shit and then people think I'm unable to play. They didn't realize that my typing is already complete shit and when drunk I stop caring to take my time and/or correct it but playing an MMO? Drunks are savants.
Haha thats awesome. I think the main reason was that I wasn't able to find the dungeon entrance after a wipe and they were sick of waiting for me. I guess healing isn't too difficult for my class since we just drop healing orbs for people to pick up (since our direct healing is kind of weak).
We have direct heals too, but we are mostly a healing/buffing/debuffing. Sometimes randoms don't pick up the orbs but if I drop them behind the tank or dps then they will pick them up. I mostly play with the same group so they know by now that I don't have the power of a priest (although we can still dungeon with only me in the party).
