New Evil Dead Movie!
  • Looks like there's going to be an Evil Dead 4 flick. Apparently there aren't a whole lot of details out yet, but Bruce Campbell confirmed it is happening. He tweeted the news, so it HAS to be true. And really, would Ash lie? Sam Raimi isn't directing though, but after the Spiderman movies that may not be a bad thing. I am cautiously stoked.

  • Watch Cambell be the Regional Manager of an SMart after all these years.
  • I don't really get the appeal of an Evil Dead that lacks both Raimi and Campbell.
  • He had to clarify that they're doing a remake, not a sequel... I'm curious, but not all that excited. Bruce Campbell being the star of those movies are what made them so magical. I don't know if they can find a new star that would make it work like that again.
  • I bet if they film in Miami Bruce will stop by the set for a cameo.
  • Sam Raimi isn't directing though, but after the Spiderman movies that may not be a bad thing. I am cautiously stoked.

Are you serious? Drag Me To Hell was awesome!
  • Yeah AgentDarkbooty, Sam Raimi other films are ten times better than the Spiderman movies.
  • I think remember seeing trailers for Drag Me To Hell, but I didn't realize it was a Raimi flick. I think I assumed it was another Stephen King adaptation and wrote it off. Think I'll check it out. I certainly enjoy Sam Raimi's approach to movies and TV shows, though I guess most of the stuff I've seen of his has been comically oriented. Perhaps Drag Me To Hell will help re-instill my faith in the Sam.
  • I hated Spider-Man 3 as much as anyone, but Drag Me To Hell was a great return to form for Raimi. I also really dig some of his older non-horror movies like A Simple Plan and The Gift.
  • I remember spending a while trying to figure out how Bill Paxton could have kept the money.
  • We should podcast on A Simple Plan.
  • Yeah, we can talk about how he could have kept the money, and then we can all go to jail for talking about money laundering!
  • Haha niiiiiice. I want to ramble about the Paxton.
