  • We have gripped, and sipped.
  • I just know Rebo has to get splattered against the wall like roadkill.
  • You know i was feeling this innovative page layout when in was in theory. But now that i look at it completed.......I am not feeling it....

    What say the peanut gallery?

    Do you feel it?
  • I'm diggin' the squed angle of the first pannel, man.

But the rest seems fairly normal.

Edit: Rebo's uzi looks like thunderbird 2.
  • piranha45 had no clue this page layout was any different than the prior ones.
  • well i was referring to the funky top box and the white outlines separating the panels instead of them just overlapping
  • IMO, thre is too much white space.
  • Thats what i was feeling
  • Also the last panel was a bit different, but i changed it to fit the new page layout. So now it looks rather off because i rotated it and it doesnt look as good rotated....

    -_-
  • I think it would've looked better if the Rebo panel would overlap the 'Walker' panel [/battlefield 2142]
Just over white kind of misses the feeling.

    Also:

Yeah, on a second, more aesthetics-oriented look at the page, the white border around the Rebo frame is a bit much, as is all that white space in the upper left corner. With the mech frame stretched upwards a tiny bit (taller mech as well, not just more background above it), maybe just enough that the lower edge of the viewer-right ESORC shoulder patch is level with the bottom edge of the Rebo frame's lowest point, and the Rebo frame overlapping instead of seperated by a border, it'd look better, IMO.

(Hope I'm describing things good enough to get across my meaning, I don't have m@d ph0t0sh0p sk1llz to demonstrate with a modified image. Hell, I don't even have photoshop, period, or any other heavy-duty graphics editor.)
  • I think i agree. :|
  • I'd say try it out mister Skabla.
  • And so i shall. Then I strap a time bomb to myself and go after god.
  • How noble of yeh, the god of the internets shall be pleased.
  • Thats the one ima blow up.

    :(
  • That's the whole plan skabs, the god of the internet has seen what it has done, and now wants to end it all. Everyone will be happy, except for WoW players who hate on South Park.
  • This has become a post off to the death.
  • By now I've forgotten so much that I don't know what's going on. The chaos of combat consumes my understanding. Should I recognise that metally thing in the... oh ok, now I see it. It's his foot, bracing for the tremendous recoil. Kind of like that guy in Ghost in the Shell who settles his feet before letting loose on the car... or the van. Or the truck. Something. I recently bought the DVD double (1+2), but I haven't had the time to rewatch the first movie (or even watch the second for the first time). How awesome is that, to have so many fun things to read and watch that I don't have time to watch DVDs I buy? Oh, right, it's like that for everyone. It just never used to be like that for me, because I (almost) never bought anything.
  • Im working on the next page as i type. Hopefully we can have it out beging of this week. No one likes us anymore.

    :(
  • Anymore? Did they ever? You should've made a comic out of Another Front (which I just finished reading), because innocent and naked girl-children and cute killer-girls always attract a crowd. Very Elfen Lied there, guys.

Found a few typos too, and things my Open Office spellchecker reacted to, but I'm sure you've moved on to more important things by now. ;)

Hey now, that wasn't the intent at all! If it was shooting for Elfen Lied there would've been hyper-explicit depictions of nudity, urine focused-montages, and someone would've lost an arm.

By all means if you care enough to send corrections/edits feel free. We're interested in improving ourselves. At the same time, there's actually been a revision or two of the story in the interim since I posted it. So who knows! The bad spelling ghost may have already been exorcised.

    Ouch man. Seriously. Ouch
  • Hey, that was a legitimate question. Is traffic down compared to some golden age during which it was "up"? I don't recall ever seeing a lot of people in these forums for instance, though there are more people here than in the forums of some other webcomics I read.

Oh, those are just details. Wherein the Devil resides. I'm talking in general here. ;)

And are you telling me that none of the yaks lost an arm? Come on! :o

No, I guess I don't care enough. Not if there's a reasonable chance that those little things have already been fixed. I want to be the lone hero, not one of the city guards who arrives too late to do anything useful. :(

Well traffic isn't DOWN, but it was never really UP either. We grow very slowly each month, but these days I don't think you can expect a monumental boom without your comic being about elves and bishonen. That's the hot topic.

I'd rather be the cop that dies on the subway train, like in Predator 2. 8)
