[quote="God"]The first episode was (and probably the whole series will be) composed of tit shots, panty shots, and super violence. And it was amazing misogynistic
http://lh6.ggpht.com/_BYa62g-V6Ig/TDOidNVe5EI/AAAAAAAAAa4/KKBmGd1heKU/high%20school.gif That was like a scene out of Zeta Gundam
If I can just turn my brain off and accept it as a show with no real substance, it should be at least watchable.
Apparently from the comments I've read online, later in the plot there is an introduction of a orgy bus of some kind.
Yeah that's all in the manga, there was also a attempted rape scene sadly. I just turned off and enjoyed the gore.
[quote="Gokiburi_Chachacha"]That's because Camille is a girl's name, and they just assumed he was a girl in need of a good slapping. And its not like Camille didn't deserve any of those slappings. He was a little bitch after all.
I meant it was like Zeta in the sense of slapping/hitting someone in a situation that doesn't call for the use of violence at all.
To be fair to Camille, he goes through some real shit over the course of Zeta. That is one depressing show
I'm not meaning to go completely off topic, but did anyone pick up or has anyone seen the Gundam Zeta re-visioning movies? If sos, how do they compare to Zeta in terms of quality?

I think the pacing is fine and they cut out a lot of shit that didn't need to be there, but the problem is there are longish sequences of stunning, beautiful new theatrical animation (like 20 minute stretches) and then it dumps you back to '80s TV animation and by comparison it looks like utter shit. Totally jarring and bad, bad, bad. Later movies have more new animation of course, but they should've just fucking reanimated the whole thing. Also the totally changed the ending to give Zeta a happy ending and basically remove ZZ totally if you care about that.
Going off topic even further to talk about Gundam, did anyone else like ZZ? I think I might have been one of the only people that enjoyed it. I mean comeon guys, had more Haman Karn as the main villain. What else could you want?

Well, I think the ZZ is actually a really cool mecha design but after about 20 episodes the show just wore me out with its stupid kid characters and their wacky hijinks.
[quote="RobotBastard"]I don't think we ever got a Gundam Sentinel anime, did we? That might well have been the "serious ZZ" we were all hoping for.
Meh, have you tried reading the book? It's more dry than your grandma's panties. Also I can usually do without Katoki's "Gundams slathered in bumperstickers and giant aerosol cans" aesthetic.
[quote="Digitalguardian"]As far as I'm concerned, Occult Academy is the the only other show worth watching. I have to agree with you on that one. I watched both and I do enjoy Occult Academy far more, but I have not had a chance yet to watching Legend of the Legendary Heroes yet.

Actually VamptVo has been singing the praises of ZZ on his twitter and podcast.
ZZ is hard to plow through, too many throw away stories. Around Episode 30 the tone shifts and gets a little better.
I skipped over the 2nd episode and decided to watch the third in hopes that the fan service would be turned down a lot. And it was turned that to a quasi-acceatabke level of gainaxing. I wouldn't say I like the show, but I definitely don't hate it. I'll see if it continues to grow on me in the coming weeks
[quote="The Last Otaku"]What the hell, half of episode 4 was recap. Super lame.
Hopefully this won't mean this show won't stay true to its gore, cartoon boobs and zombies and instead recap this show while occasionally animating scenes of sexual exploitation for its viewers pleasure. Oh wait, that's what this show is all about. I have a feeling that this is one big moe show, because what is more moe than high school girls and teaming up with them out of necessity?
But, more importantly, when was the last time we had a zombie apocalypse anime? Because I think we need more of them.
Major is so much cooler because it's about cartoon baseball, instead of just cartoon baseball bats being used to kill zombies.f
[quote="quartears"]But, more importantly, when was the last time we had a zombie apocalypse anime? Because I think we need more of them. I can't recall any anime ever being dedicated to a zombie apocalypse before this one.

I believe I have found a yahoo answer on this. I have no intention of looking at any of the ones listed on basis that death note was in there...for some reason.

I think the some of the proposed physics would result in the tearing of the skin around the breasts. Specifically, how fast would a boob have to be in motion in order to avoid a bullet fired from a sniper rifle? I can't imagine a person whose skin could withstand such force would have to worry about being bitten by a zombie.
[quote="Gokiburi_Chachacha"]Jeez, Japan really knows how to drive the nail into the coffin of a played-out subgenre, don't they? I think this one has boobies in it too. So its kinda original, right?
That is the whole reason it sucks. It's a show about zombies, there is not supposed to be cute parts. At least i don't consider zombie movies to be cute. Just watch Zombieland at least it knows what kind of show / movie it is.
Ok... this show might not be something I can watch on lunch at work. But its pretty entertaining. The animation is nice, good zombie kills and a panty shot... once and a while. Or every 4 seconds! One or the other. I can't wait to finish this show! Maybe they'll make a second season.
