This series probably does not fit under the label of anime. Unless your Japanese and everything that is animated is considered anime. The art style for lack of my limited knowledge of art. I would have to say is storybook style. The Diary of Tortov Roddle is a series of animate shorts created by Kunio Kato. I've never heard of the guy before. There is not really a plot to Tortov Roddle. The shorts are about Tortov who travels around the country on a horse size pig. The shorts are mix of surreal and magical for lack of a better word. That's pretty much it. There are 7 episodes, not more than 5 minutes long each. I enjoyed the whole thing quite a bit. It's made a nice break from the anime I've been watching of late.
