Andrew WK to release Gundam ROCK

I might have furrowed my brow at this announcement in the past, but I have heard Andrew WK's seriously kickass cover of Ai Senshi so I am expecting this to be good, or at least entertaining. Andew WK doing Gihren's speech is just crazy.

I love Andrew WK, and this is awesome. I can't wait for his piano solo album in a couple months also.

The CD is pretty good, but nowhere on the level of the Japan covers.

I'm enjoying it.
I guess I'd agree the Japan Covers is slightly better, but that's mostly because the music is more varied, and which is kind of a problem when you do an album like this (also one of the best songs from this is already on TJC).
I really, really love Andrew WK performing the opening narration from Gundam and the Sieg Zeon speech though.
