The Terrible Confessions Thread
  • [quote="karaokeninja"][quote="kaazuwulf"]My favorite Bond actor is Timothy Dalton...

Hey, I agree! He's the only one who bothered to act. License to Kill rules. I don't care what anyone says. Felix gets fed to a shark AND LIVES.

License to Kill is one of my favorites, I can't see how anyone dislikes that movie. I mean bond lite's the villian on fire, you can't get much better then that.
  • [quote="BrokenMagnum"]I don't hate French House music or Daft Punk.
Save that for the "Totally Awesome Confessions" thread.

I have friends who like Attack Attack!
Wait until 2:50.....well....if you can actually make it to that point
  • Man, it's like someone eat three genres and then threw up and that's what came out.

The guy on the keyboard doesn't even do anything. He just hangs on to the thing to keep balance while headbanging.
  • Tenjo Tenge was fun. Joel sums it up perfectly the Manga is both better and worse all at once. I don't think women laugh off rape by the guy having a small cock,
    Spoiler:
while fucking their boyfriend who's sitting back and crossing his legs.
Urgh. Anyway, the manga should have ended years ago it makes not a lick of sense anymore.

    Oh yeah, a confession.

Nirvana is my all time favorite band ever, Weird Al is number 2. After that it's a free for all.
  • I've played World of Warcraft for years now, and I still have no idea what the fuck I'm doing. Most of my combat strategy revolves around frantically spamming the keypad.

    Also, I don't enjoy Team Fortress 2.
  • [quote="furyk"]This is a thread for horrible confessions that cannot stay unsaid. For example, I have watched more HGTV then any person should in the past few months because its my wife's favorite thing ever.

If it makes you feel better it's every wive's favorite channel and every husband will seat next to them and watch it for hours.
  • I am a pigeon kicker.
  • I use rabbit ears to get television.
  • [quote="xenomouse"]I use rabbit ears to get television.

I thought the gov'ment put a stop to that?
  • I know an infowars.com nut and he says that America is going to be all killed on September 14 2009. (I am going to laugh in his face!) but you might want to prepare for the worst… just incase.
  • [quote="Malachi"][quote="xenomouse"]I use rabbit ears to get television.

I thought the gov'ment put a stop to that?
Nope. They just mandated that all signals be switched to digital, for which there are a variety of converter boxes available.
  • [quote="xenomouse"]I use rabbit ears to get television.

I have old rabbit ears leading into a digital converter box. Or at least I did, then I moved and never bothered unpacking it since all the shows I watch are online anyway.
  • I've seen more than one episode of Totally Spies.
  • I think I've seen all of it actually.
  • This is a confession from my dad.

"I guess I love Avatar: The Last Airbender"
  • I've also seen pretty much every episode of Totally Spies.
  • I love the movie Xanadu.
  • I like Final Fantasy VIII
  • I unabashadly enjoy FF VII. I know it's been cool to hate it for the past decade but I still have very fond memories of playing it. I also still love the theme from Cosmo Canyon.
  • Of Time's top 10 disappointing blockbusters (http://www.time.com/time/specials/packages/article/0,28804,1919073_1919196,00.html), I've thoroughly enjoyed the following: Waterworld and Osmosis Jones. I found Speed 2 and Wild Wild West to be decent, just not thoroughly enjoyable. I was disappointed with myself for having dragged multiple friends from college to see Battlefield Earth in the theater.
  • [quote="djdrastic"]I've also seen pretty much every episode of Totally Spies.

I really, really, really like that show...also I used to watch Bratz and Winx Club...
  • I watch Bratz and Winx Cub on Saturday morning. I'm also a scantily clad 15 year old girlslut

I've seen most of Totally Spies as well
    This is an omen
  • [quote="The Joel"]I unabashadly enjoy FF VII. I know it's been cool to hate it for the past decade but I still have very fond memories of playing it. I also still love the theme from Cosmo Canyon.FF VII was the first and only FF game I've ever played. I really enjoyed it, didn't know the internets had decided it was uncool.

Terrible confession: The only Resident Evil game I've really played is 4. And I only got about 5 hours into that one.
  • Jesus... this is looking worse by the second but... I also watched Totally Spies and Martin Mystery.
  • Also, my favorite Patrick Swayze movie is not road house.....it's dirty dancing....
  • My favorite Patrick Swayze and Wesley Snipes movie is To Wong Foo...
  • The moment I get super powers, the world is over. :goku:

Really? that kinda seems like a waste. If i get superpowers im taking over a Little Debbie plant.

Yeah, me too. I've played FF6 for a bit, but being a former Genesis owner, and not much of an RPG player (as a result?), FF7 is the only one I've ever beaten.
  • [quote="chronocross_xp"][quote="kaazuwulf"][quote="Malachi"]I cry every time Wilson floats off in Cast Away. Every Time..

Me to. I also cried watching Juno...
I can understand the volleyball going away but why would you cry on Juno?

Maybe he really wanted to see an abortion?

Also I think I started crying after getting FFVII for the PC and hating it so much because it wasn't as close to as good as FFVI.
  • [quote="furyk"].... it wasn't as close to as good as FFVI.
    TRU FAX!
  • I do not care for the latter half of FFVI and I have never seen any part of Black Lagoon

Really? that kinda seems like a waste. If i get superpowers im taking over a Little Debbie plant.

If I get superpowers, I'm creating a Little Debbie Plant. Just..like...a bush that grows those little Christmas tree cakes with the sprinkles. That would be my superpower.

And thus the age of world hunger ended and the age of world diabetes began.

Christmas tree cakes? It's all about the large Oatmeal pies. or Zebra Cakes, i fucking love zebra cakes!
  • I don't like the new Sonic the Hedgehog games, but I really like the music.
  • I actually kind of like the most recent Sonic game even if the Werehog parts are super shitty.
  • I'm kind of ambivalent about the Pixies and Rush.
  • There is a religion called Apostofirianism that is about how all of the gods that are no long believed in go to a bar in limbo that is ran by Satan, the angels that like to drink beer, and his bus boy slave the “more handsome man that ever lived”. People in limbo can go to the bar and drink. Jesus and god look in the window because they don’t like fun, then they start to argue with Buddha about taxi fare (because Buddha is not going the same way that God and Jesus are going and Buddha doesn’t have any money). In this religion the apocalypse is when all the drunken gods go out and see the argument and it stars a bar fight, and we are the ants on the ground… Yeah, that is what I imagine the afterlife to be like.
  • I think you mean Satan not satin.
  • [quote="BrokenMagnum"]I think you mean Satan not satin.

… Oh right… well spell check can’t fix my grammar… or my word chose. I’ll fix that now.
  • [quote="xenomouse"]I'm kind of ambivalent about the Pixies and Rush.

My mind is blown that you are putting those two bands in the same sentence that is not, "The Pixies and Rush are not remotely similiar."

I know that people here dig both the Pixies and Rush. Why are you screwing up my terrible confession???
  • Xeno wasn't implying similarity, merely saying "Here are are two unrelated bands that are held in high regard that I'm so-so about."

Speaking of Rush, I like them, but I recently heard someone complain that all their songs sound the same and I kinda agree.
  • Yeah, because "Big Money" and "La Villa Strangiatto" are exactly the same, man.
  • K, but one band is like poppy grunge-punk and one is overblown prog rock, you know?
  • And they're both well thought of around here, and he doesn't really care for either. Like if he said "Well, even though everyone else on this forum likes them, neither Paranoia Agent nor Fist of the Northstar have ever turned my crank."

    You're being super semantic.
