I'm going to be posting updates on Twitter on the progress of our protest to save our theatre department. Also, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could spread the word, especially if you have any media contacts who can get us more national attention. Especially if you can get us the "Colbert bump". If we had Stephen Colbert on our side, victory would be assured.
It took me forever to get the profile picture at the right level of creepy. [slowclap]Dude, I almost blocked you. That's terrifying. And the background just adds to it.[/slowclap]

Oh man, I'd forgotten the background. That was one of those a friend took and I said "That sure as hell better not show up on the internet" so then it showed up on the internet and I had no choice but to embrase it.
I suppose I should put up my actual twitter now. http://twitter.com/VKlaus . The Golgo_13 worked ok, but its to hard to maintain two of these stupid things.
Its Surat's doing, because all he did was retweet his comments and Bobby got mad at him by tweeting how hes not racist and complaining about it on his blog or whatever. That was the way I have understood it.
The guy started making stupid comments on how white people were oppressed on Oguie Maniax's blog post on race. Which was already pretty hilarious - but when he started going off on how many good things white people have done and how minorities don't appreciate white folk (or some BS like that) and then the whole twitter fiasco started.
I think people keep talking to him to gain Internet cool guy points or something. I have no business dealing with people who actively propagate myths that protect white privilege.
Now he wants to post on how he wants to knock up Belldandy from Oh My Goddess because her bearing his child is just really hot for him. The thing is, this is something I would have expected to hear from someone like him 10 some years ago when that was somewhat popular in the anime community, when its now hardly talked about anymore.
