Good job! I had to take Differential Equations twice :P Although I made it through PDE's okay, and that one took out like a fifth of the grad students.

Thanks, I worked my ass off in that class. We lost near a third of the students in the class before we even got to partials. Our teacher only spent one class on multivariate equations. She was just like, these are heat, wave, and laplace equations. They will be on the final next week, so you should probably know them. The class reaction was a collective 'What the fuck?'.

So after spending 4 days with all my electronics in front of my bed (so I don't have to get up), I felt terrible and decided to make a desk that sits on the treadmill so I can walk and use my computer now at the same time.

I got into an argument about objective taste with someone. While having an argument on the internet makes me feel like a jackass, coming out of it made me feel very relieved because I managed to never twist my opponents argument. Maybe that's a bad thing to feel good about, but I do.

After something like 15 emails back and forth EA has finally closed the case on the whole Tera purchase thing and have given me ME3 Special Edition as a replacement game. Way better than I thought I was going to get.

In one episode of the Greatest Movie Ever, my wife has become the most hated person Paul has ever had on his show. After getting past the "husband smash" rage, I find it hilarious that several people got super bent out of shape over her comments and then even more people got bent out of shape defending her. I don't know why I find this so funny though.

She says "awww". I have appreciated people coming to her defense as well as Paul defending her. I also think she did a pretty good job of being her normal bubbly self and not the frightening, carries multiple knives person that doesn't exist at all.............................. She isn't scary at all.......
She assures me she'll be back at some point to talk about some silly movie that I may already know about maybe even though I'm being coy.

Had really good vegan pizza in Cleveland once. Some place in Lakewood. Closed down, sadly. The faux cheese did not taste the least bit bad.

For you curious folks, you can get vegan cheeses made from: soy (gross), rice (gross), almonds (yummy), and cashews (yummy). Side note, almond milk is delicious too.

Not much at all. It's like the low fat or skim milk. It's great for baking with when you have the plain almond milk. The almond based cheese if much better for shredding too.
RobotBastard; yes, I was going to make a nut joke but my husband has been telling me I'm too crass lately. But what can I say? I like nuts........................in my mouth...........................*giggles*

Holy cats, I also forgot to mention that there is almond yogurt AND coconut based yogurt AND coconut based ice cream. Lots of options for vegans now besides salads.

Oh my god start a vegan/vegetarian thread to talk about your abominable faux cheeses you crazy bastards! This is supposed to be the awesome feeling thread and reminding me of when i was a vegetarian is not what makes me feel awesome! Growing up as a 'snack' I had to drink this malted mint soy milk thing that came in a capri sun like pouch - i can still taste it, it makes me shudder to this day.
BUT one holdover from childhood/vegetarianism: nutritional yeast on popcorn is the best. Also i love tofu -
People being curious about vegan cheese instead of yelling at me about it made me feel pretty awesome......and this is the awesome thread......

Awesome thing: Substitute pharmacist comes in today carrying the biggest Bible I've ever seen. He turns to me, I'm gearing up for the Jesus lecture I almost always get from people who carry Bibles everywhere. Instead he starts talking to me about comic books and wonders if I'm going to DragonCon. Freaking awesomeness for the awesome thread. -
Nutritional yeast on popcorn is fucking fantastic. Our kitten got into our bag of yeast and spread it all over the kitchen/ate a bunch of it. I was so pissed.
Man, I want a cheese plate. Right now. And some sort of spritzer to go with it, something over ice. And fresh fruit.
