The "I feel awesome today" thread.
  • I will just drink for the sake of drinking , but seriously man mucho congratulations.
  • Congrats dude!
  • She said she loves me.

Ok I'm done gaying up this thread.
  • *clears throat*

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!

I'm girlin it up right along with you baby, it's all good.

    *hugs*

First babies, then love. Hooray. All I need is someone to bring in a unicorn, and the circle is complete.
  • I just finished acing all of Bjorn the Unicorn's levels in Peggle Nights! Circle is over!
  • PEGGLES OVER NOOB GET ON THE TRAIN ITS ALL ABOUT PLANTS VS ZOMBIES!

I kid of course, but seriously....plants vs zombies.
  • Plants vs Zombies is very fun.
  • [quote="Bass_kat"]First babies, then love.
    That'd be pretty awkward.
  • I have read enough Harlequin romance novels to know that it is very possible, but not without wacky hijinks ensuing.
  • [quote="Digitalguardian"][quote="Bass_kat"]First babies, then love.
    That'd be pretty awkward.

Single moms need love as well.
  • Finally put my two weeks notice in at my work. Last day is May 19th. I will finally be done with a job with no work, there is nothing more exausting then going to a job where you have no work to do, but you can't look like you don't have work to do...

I will be able to scrounge for a few months being super frugal, then I will get my Permanent Dividend Fund and that will keep me alive a little longer, and then I will get my college savings withdrawn which will add up to another 9000 dollars which I hopefully I can manage well enough to keep me alive for the upcoming college school days.

Goodbye Rightstuf/Amazon anime binge orders
  • I can sympathize with that. Even just one day at work where I don't have anything to do but have to look like I do can be exhausting.

Plus, you can only read the internet for so long.

    Like today, for example.

Ahhh, that's almost the entirety of two years at my previous job.
  • Yeah that was my day at work today.

I need to study and get my stupid cert already.
  • This is super weird. I can actually afford to save money now that I got a raise. I am making nearly double what I was a year and a half ago. I am making more money than either of my parents. Of course, I feel strangely guilty about this.
  • What do you do?
  • Saving money is the best feeling in the world. There's a danger that you can addicted to the idea that your savings account can't be touched ever. I was incredibly thankful my wife and I had savings after she went in for a very minor surgery and came out with an $8,000 dollar bill. We got on a payment plan, but we were able to weather some other squall's thanks to that cushion.
  • I work in tech. My job title is officially Technical Account Manager. I babysit big accounts basically. :)
  • I just turned in my last term paper of the semester. I'm eagerly anticipating my break, and I promise to be drunk by 4 o'clock this afternoon.
  • Going to see roller derby with Jack Thwackaninny.
  • My wife just discovered that some birds have made a nest in a cow skull hanging in our backyard. You can hear the baby birds chirping whenever the parents land on the skull to feed them. Circle of life, man.
  • So first final down, pretty sure I did well only two more left and Im fairly certain I will do well on them. Also turned all the shit I needed to. Leaving thursday, and recently got back in touch with some friends back home. Unfortunately I will also be with out internet for three months till I move into my new appartment. But on the plus side I HAVE AN APPARTMENT!
  • Woot on the apartment!

I are happy because I just officially started my new gig today...complete with a brand new, color coordinated ID
  • Well yay I recovered all of the podcasts tha were on my multitrack that died!
  • sadface so is the multitrack compeltely fucked? I got the Texts but missed what happened intially.
  • I have it one good authority I'll be cast in an improv show very early next fall.
  • I am having to mail it to New York so the manufacturer can fix it.
  • Also: I got a free computer from some guy at work. It's a 2.8 ghz Pentium 4 with a gig of RAM, which doesn't sound too impressive until you realize what I was previously using. For the first time ever I was able to get fucking Windows activate properly so now I can GASP actually use Windows Update! This is new fucking territory.

Also neat: I bought destroyallpodcasts.com to compliment destroyallpodcastsdx.com, except that I am the one controlling destroyallpodcasts.com directly, so using that URL I took out the redirect page I hate and just pointed directly at the damn page. A minor thing, yes, but I LOVE it.
  • Volumes one and two of 20th Century Boys are in the mail as we speak, and I should have them in under a week.
  • JOEL LIKED MY ENTRY IN THE CONTEST!!!!

    Ok, I'm done...

edit: I also feel awesome because all of my fighting with Audacity worked, and I was able to send that mp3 through the e-mail. Hooray!
  • I found my copy of The World Ends With You! I thought I lost it at PAX.
  • Sounds like a pretty good day to me.
  • I graduate from high school today.
  • Hope it is enjoyable. I remember my graduation as just being know as being the longest in the state. It trudged on for so long and it wasn't the awesome cathartic experience everyone expected when it dragged on for like 6 hours. :|

Best of luck in your upcoming endeavors.
  • Graduation is exhausting, miserable, and boring. I got so drunk the night before my college graduation I almost didn't go, ended up showing up just in time to hop into the procession as they walked into the tent (woo! no prerehersal!) and grab a newspaper so I could do the crossword while the presenter spoke.

Actually, that day wasn't so bad. :o
  • That must've been a fucking awesome crossword puzzle.
  • I played Gameboy for most of my college graduation.
  • i will have my ipod, DS, and cell phone handy.... our graduating class isnt that big though about 300....so hopefully it shouldnt be too bad.
  • I've never actually graduated anything, but I've been to a few...pretty durn boring...I always get so excited, and swell up with pride for whomever it is I'm going to see, and then...I'm just hot, and I want the person next to me to stop touching me, because I don't know them, and the seats are too goddamn small and too close together, so you have to touch them, even if you don't know them!

    *shudders*
