That does look interesting. The problem is with a hole shaped like a clash between a boat and a helicopter getting the right shape with anything else is pretty difficult.

I had no idea that the show was out of print. The version I have is listed on Ebay for $200. So tempted. -
Long out of print now, it was a Geneon title, after all. And it's really fucking expensive to buy used, so I got no practical choice but to wait. And Funi is also sitting on Serial Experiments Lain, Texhnolyze, and Hellsing too amongst others, so I wait with bated breath. Speaking of Lain, it got a sweet-ass Blu Ray box set release in Japan that included the English dub/subs and both soundtracks that I want so badly, but it's like 350 bucks online. I really hope that's the release we get, because that show looks really damn good in 1080p.

I thought it was a pretty good look at what scaling the far side of the uncanny valley might look like. If her brow moved just a smidgeon, these dudes would be cooking with fire.

Speaking of the uncanny valley, people talk that shit up way too much; almost every time I've seen someone provide a supposed example of it, it really doesn't leave any impression on me. Only time I can think of where someone really achieved the kind of uncanny other-ness it implies is that one scene in Kairo with the stumbling lady ghost (see here for the part in question, though I recommend the movie anyway, one of my favorites: http://www.avclub.com/articles/pulse,54014/).
EDIT: Agreed on the brow, after having that pointed out it was incredibly distracting. -
The weird little girl from the beginning of the Mass Effect 3 trailer playing with the Normandy model freaked me out.

Yea, her eyebrows never moved, looking for it made it very weird. Decent enough jump off point for either a movie or a game though.

This episode: MC Hammer, Miss Cleo, Richard Nixon: Tour Guide, Triangle Girl gives the worst head.
I gotta say, the Otherworld sequence in the last episode was way more effective than I expected, and there's a pretty good scare in this one. Also, Murphy has officially replaced Heather as SH protagonist with the most realistic reaction to shit, because he really freaks the fuck out. -

Until it jumped the building I was about to say that it had been done before.
I'm guessing Battlebots went out of business as Boston Dynamics hit the scene. They probably felt that it was just a matter of time before they would create a bot that would systematically find every enemy bot's weakness and annihilate it...autonomously. -
