I don't really have the energy to create separate threads for the 3-4 games I'm playing right now, so figured I would just list them.
Tomb Raider: Anniversary (PSP) - Pretty cool, slightly frustrating trial and error (try and die) at times, otherwise great game.
Everyday Shooter (PS3) - Why didn't I buy this sooner? Still playing everyday, as title suggests.
Resident Evil: Remake (Gamecube) - Had to play through again after I went through Resident Evil 4 (Wii) for the 8th time. I was curious if it held up. It does. Still my favorite game of all time next to ICO, no question.
Up next: Guitar Hero III (never played a GH game before), Ratchet & Clank, and COD:4 (all PS3). Probably try to pick up the japanese Mario Galaxies too if I can find out how import friendly it is.
S.T.U.N. Runner - I spent about 50,000,000,000,000,000 quarters on this one as a kid at the arcade. Also I would go to a roller rink and instead of roller skating, just sit there playing this game and Robotron 2084 endlessly. The Lynx version is garbage, bad graphics and does nothing to emulate the insane speed of the arcade version. However, the Midway Arcade's Greatest Hits 3 or whatever the fuck it is called for PS2 has a perfect emulation of it. THANK YOU GOD! Granted, no stupid plastic space motorcycle to ride, but still... awesome. This game is like roller coaster + bobsled + space motorcyle race shooter. You go so fucking fast it's ridiculous. Sure, by today's standards the polygonal graphics are kind of primative, but it looks fine because of good design. YAY. I guess there's other games in this arcade collection, but I don't really care.
Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles on PSP - Super awesome, Symphony of the Night, Rondo of Blood, plus face-rapingly hard 3D remake of Rondo. Jesus god it's even harder than the original Rondo. I want to punch someone. Maybe myself. Symphony does not have the improvements the Saturn version had, but it has its own improvements, including a new translation and new voices, and a new Maria that plays totally different from the Saturn Maria and even has new sprites, so that's cool. But 3D Dracula X makes me want to throw my PSP at a wall.
Castlevania: Dracula X on SNES - I played through this whole game to prepare myself for Dracula X Chronicles. It's weird, it's so similar yet so different. It's like Rondo... but not. In a lot of ways it's a more traditional Castlevania, kind of like Castlevania 3, but fuck, it's probably harder than Rondo, and Rondo makes me want to sacrifice kittens. FUCK YOU DRACULA! You know how the end of Rondo has you fighting Dracula in his throne room (also the beginning of Symphony) where he does his teleport, fireball, teleport deal? In Dracula X SNES, you are not on flat ground, but a series of tiny pillars and it is SO EASY TO GET KNOCKED OFF. COME ON KONAMI! WHAT THE FUCK?
Also, why doesn't Dracula X Chronicles include SNES Dracula X? Or if you prefer, Dracula XX (that name is funnier anyway.)
[quote="karaokeninja"]But 3D Dracula X makes me want to throw my PSP at a wall.
Hah! Yeah this is on my short list of games to play, but I'm worried about this reaction too. After one part in Tomb Raider yesterday where I kept missing the same bastard wall jump at the end of this ridiculous platform section, I almost tried to see how aerodynamic my PSP was. After the talk of difficulty with the Castlevania Rondo remake I'm worried about the same thing.
As an old controller-thrower, it's a hard (such a) habit to break.
Final Fantasy Tactics (emulated PSX) on PSP - I'll buy a legit copy of the new one on principle once I beat it, I just wanted to play the brokeass translation for my first time just for the novelty value.
Jade Empire - I had a hankering for some Bioware games, and I think I already beat KOTOR twice, so I'm playing this again. Not their best game ever, but still a lot of fun.
I'm definitely picking up Dracula X and TR: Anniversary once I'm done with these.
Replaying scenes from Portal and HL2E2. I'm a sucker for well-designed encounters, and those two games have 'em in spades.
Halo 3, at least when I get my Xbox back from my brother.
Recently Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass - Pretty good, validates the touch-screen on the DS more than any other game I've played on the system, but now that I've beaten it I really wish there was a Cave of Ordeals somewhere on the map so I could justify finding the last few powerup items.
Soon Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Justice for All - at least, if Best Buy ever manages to find and successfully ship me a copy.
PC - Team Fortress 2 Wii - Resident Evil 4 (again), Sin & Punishment DS - Phoenix Wright: Justice for All, Ouendan 2 PSP - Disgaea (again) PS2 - God Hand

Similarly, I bought this collection entirely for Rush 2049 and have basically touched nothing else on the disc. Perhaps I will give this a try.
toribash. They just released it for free (even though the site still says "demo", it's the full thing). Podcast about it to come soon, because this is too good to let go.
Im playing Knights of the Old Republic for like the 20th time. Probly because Mass Effect is coming soon. and a little Halo3 thrown in for good measure (waiting for Call of Duty 4 which comes out monday).

Oh, BTW, I tried out Zelda DS at a demo kiosk at a store. So... all the the stylus does is make it much harder and less intuitive to control Link the same exact what I always have playing Zelda? I am not seeing the appeal.

So... all the the stylus does is make it much harder and less intuitive to control Link the same exact what I always have playing Zelda? I am not seeing the appeal. Even after you've figured out what the controls are, it takes a while to get used to the stylus until it feels natural. The true genius of it doesn't become apparent until you start picking up the items; I can say with a straight face that every single item in this game, whether it's the boomerang, the bombs, the bow-and-arrow, the bombchus, or even items that don't start with the letter b, controlled FAR better in this game than in any other Zelda I have played to date.
I tried playing through the original Phantasy Star over the last few weeks, but I finally got to a point where the game became too god damn unplayable and I just quit. I then went out and bought FFIII for the DS, and have been playing the hell out of that. Thank god that translations for RPGs aren't as shitty as they were in the 80's, where the best clue you could get was THERE IS DEMON DRAGON IN A CAVE WEST OF HERE. IT HAS CRYSTAL ON IT'S HEAD! Thanks, unnamed woman. I now know that there is a demon dragon with a crystal on it's head. I do not, however, know what the hell I'm supposed to do about that.
karaokeninja: How's the emulation of the original Rondo on Dracula X chronicles? Someone was telling me that the original game has a lot of glitches and such on this particular port, but I haven't played it yet myself.
I'm on a one game plan at Gamefly, so I had to trade in Valkyrie Profile 2 (I'll be buying that one) to see just how people were so up in arms over a mediocre game like Manhunt 2.
In the meantime, I'll try my quest to get every damn item and secret in FF XII.

I would ask them what they are smoking. The only problem I have seen on Rondo is occasionally the song will pause for an instant when the disc loads like when you are loading a new screen or something. I guess their streaming is not perfect. I've seen people bitching about sound effects being different, but I think they are on drugs. They sound the same to me, and I was just playing fucking Rondo on my computar. Have you heard anything else is supposed to be weird? I'm not seeing it.
Guitar Hero III (PS3) - Never played a Guitar Hero before. Feels kind of like I'm playing a fisher price game, but I don't really care. Once I got the hang of it I had a ton of fun. Beat it on easy after a few hours, but am dreading moving up to medium. Hah! I'm such a noob. Great game though, hope we get some DLC, like music from the first two games...
Ratchet & Clank Future (PS3) - Never played a Ratchet game either (I was more of a Jak guy) but this is pretty fun. A little too colorful and silly, but I guess that's part of its appeal...? Anyway I'll probably get into it more as I need a game to get into.
Just dropped my $$$ to pre-order Uncharted & PS3 Orange Box. Those two up there + Manhunt (psp) will have to last me until they arrive next month.
I'm playing Condemned: Criminal Origins again. I really like that game, but am sad that it no longer scares me after I've beaten it . Also, the guy who does the main characters voice is Parkman from Heroes. This knowledge made the game so much more fun to play.
Uncharted looks crazy fun. I wish there was more Monkey Island and less gun play in the trailers. Then I would be more excited. However, it still looks like a pretty sweet game.
Because of low funding and the fact that I'm at school so much during the week, I've pretty much just been playing Monster Rancher Advance and Meteos, because I like to play games while I listen to podcasts.
I've been playing the Crysis single player demo. It would be super fantastic if not for the fact that I do not meet the hardware requirements, making killing a jeep driver and hijacking his ride a lot less fun than it should be.
I picked up Custom Robo Arena for the DS on clearance and have been enjoying that. I'm basically waiting for christmas vacation to play Mass Effect, Mario Galaxy, and Folklore.
I've just finished (finally) FF XII, and I've been also playing Ratchet & Clank Future, GT HD demo, Super Paper Mario, Trauma Center, Shenmue 2 and Tokyo Bus Guide, Picross DS (as _always_), oh, and I got today the Uncharted demo(finally it became playable on PAL consoles). Even tough I suck at aiming, I found it quite enjoyable..and the game is beautiful.
