Hey long time no see, I was wondering if my girlfriend and I faction changed and moved server and did all that fun jazz if it would be possible to get in kung fu scientists and do some hot fast karate raiding and rolling? Kilrogg just isn't cutting it for us anymore and we want some hard core nerds to roll with haha. Thanks
Go for it, though our "raiding" has become spotty at best. Between burn out and summer we've lost a bit of our team and drive. Come on over and shoot any of us a whisper.
Is there anything in particular you all would need? Since i know the position isn't guaranteed or anything is there any class in particular you guys would want? I have a warrior prot/fury, a priest disc/sp, a shaman ele/resto, and a mage fire/arc. My girlfriend has a survival hunter, destro/demo lock, and boomkin/tree druid. All level 80 all icc 25m geared. Sorry this looks like a guild application but i don't think it would make sense to transfer everyone of our characters especially since we are so very poor. Thanks.
Hey, all. I'm a recent discoverer of Fast Karate that has found himself with a great deal of spare time and not much to fill it with. I'd been thinking about getting into an MMO when I listened to an old podcast episode that talked about your WoW guild on Ysera. I thought it might be cool to play with the Fast Karate community, so I decided to check and see if you are open to new memebers. If so, are you still looking for a healer for raids? I will likely be starting a character from scratch, but I'd be glad to roll up a druid or shaman if that's what the group needs for end-game content. If there is another role that needs filling, let me know.
Anybody's welcome to join, but we don't offer raid slots sight unseen. The 'need a healer' is more like 'need one more warm body' right now, but we're looking for someone soon, so if you wanna make a new character feel free, just keep in mind there's no promises for raiding.
No problem, Dave. I'm less interested in raiding and more interested in having a cool group of people to play with and keep the game interesting. Once I get my character up to the end game I'll start worrying about trying to earn myself a raid slot, though I am going to make it my goal to get there ASAP.
Who do I contact about membership in game? I've got the client patching at home while I work so that I can get started tonight. Also, does your guild have any lower level characters or alts that I can pal around with on occasion?
We're small, like I think 15ish people max? Yet there are a shit ton of characters. Most of us are alt nuts so you should be able to find someone. Also, don't be afraid to just ask. Someone may not be on that alt but willing to switch to it.
Anyone in the guild should have invite ability so just seek em out. I won't be home till later but if you haven't got in by then my name is in my signature for this very reason. Just look for Rhegma.
Oh, and my default to posts like these is, play whatever class is most fun for you.
WoW is super friendly to new players now. They've overhauled their tutorials a lot. If you've ever played a videogame (ANY videogame) the leveling experience in WoW will feel like, with brief exceptions, you're an honors student in a remedial math class.
Robb: If you do decide to pick up WoW, look me up when you get in game. The long journey to the level cap can be made much more bearable if you've got a regular buddy to tackle quests with.
Sorry about the lack of contact last night, guys. I ended up logging in much later than I thought. I've gone ahead and created a druid by the name of Takahn, and I'm having a blast so far. Dave wasn't kidding. They've really overhauled things since the last time I played. The leveling process seems really streamlined now. I made it to ten after just a couple of hours!
I'll get in contact with somebody tonight about guild membership.
Just a heads up to be sure, we are Horde side. Not sure if you were aware but I'd rather get that squared away before you get too far if you had tried Alliance.
That's a crippling psychological problem. I won't be able separate that character from its identity as a blood elf without years of therapy. So thanks for making light of my pain.
PSA for all you guys, there's a guild vendor that's affected by sha'tar rep. So if you were interested in cloaks or say a DARK PHOENIX MOUNT and wanted a discount, you can buy it from her.
