Ahoy hoy! I'm a simple man, I like Australian new wave films (along with most other country's new wave films), peanut butter and banana sandwiches, dogs (but not *my* dog, he's just awful), and parentheses. I have listened to Fast Karate for a good long while now, but have only recently thought to join their official community for listeners. My endeavors have proved successful, and here I am.

hey everybody, i started listening a few months back and i pretty much tore through the archives in that time, so i thought i'd join the forum.

Greetings everyone. I'm a 19-year-old shiftless dreamer who found your podcast through The Greatest Movie Ever!, and have been plowing through your backlogs the past couple months. 3 or 4 podcasts a day makes the body strong.
Anyway, I'm a big movie buff, though I have to say I also play way too many video games and watch way too much TV for me to have a proper social life. Netflix: both a blessing and a curse. I'm sure I'm missing a lot for the purposes of an introduction, but fuck it, you'll get to know me through my posts. -
I'll introduce myself, I suppose.
I'm a teenage girl who listens to a shitload of podcasts of grown men talking about anime and vidya. I attempt to run a podcast of my own (with little to no avail-- http://nyancast.podbean.com/). Anyway, I am pretty much a giant douche bag among my other traits.
Oh, and I really like Sengoku BASARA and Kpop.
Hopefully I don't annoy you all too much...

Hello everyone. Been subscribing to the podcast since 2006 and finally decided to join the forums.
Mainly I am hoping that the forum can act as a methadone for the actual podcast experience. I am currently in China teaching English and the podcast's rss is being blocked by the "Great Firewall". So the real question is what has Fast Karate done to anger the CPC?
Besides that I enjoy real robots, Civilization (4 and 5) and Buffalo area sports teams. -

I can access the website and the forums just fine without any finagling.
To tell the truth I am actually still listening to the podcast. I just have to log into a VPN account I created before coming here and then your feed both on the site and through Itunes works just fine a.k.a. no cryptic error messages.
It could be libsyn since a couple other podcasts I listen to are also blocked for no discernible reason.
I don't know the set up for these shows but Great Movie Ever, AWO, Slate, and anything NPR work just fine without a VPN but I also need to "burrow" to download the Rooster Teeth podcast and anything from Librivox.
The firewall overall is really silly and piecemeal. I couldn't sign an online petition my Father sent me to keep the Buffalo Bills in WNY because it was political action.
I would wear your block as a badge of honor unless you had any plans to visit China soon.

Been doing a lot of driving this summer and started listening to the podcast rather than music. Needless to say, love it and ended up deciding to post here. Hola everybody ^^
