Well, I installed a visual confirmation for guest posts to hopefully curb this. I don't like restricting how people post, which is why I didn't set it to require registration to post, but deleting these things five times a day is excessive. Hopefully having to type a couple extra letters to post won't dissaude any newcomers.

Probably true, but you never know. I think it's pretty silly to purposefully avoid registration on a forum anyway. Whenever I find a forum I want to post something on, even just once, I tend to register out of habit. Still, there ARE intelligent people out there that post as guests for whatever reason. They're in the minority, but they're there. And I hate to make it harder on them.

I am pro the Getter Robo stance of this website as an off shoot of my Getter Robo worldview. What is a Getter Robo worldview? Well, take the middle east for instance. Getter Beam. Problem solved. Its a moral system based around the unrivaled power that Getter Robo possesses. Because its power is unrivaled, any action it takes are automatically moral, or rather, its decisions are beyond moral because they cannot be compromised. There is nothing it can do that would be considered immoral.
The ramifications of this are that I live a totally awesome life dictated by the movement of high karate.
If this doesn't make sense, good. That's the underpinning of Getter Robo. Turn off your brain and let the karate guide you.

But this brings up a serious and dire moral dilemma: Which robot kicks more ass? Shin Getter Robo or Mazinkaiser?!

Depends on which Shin Getter Robo you're talking about, alien goo Shin Getter or oni decapitation Shin Getter.
For high flying antics involving android temptress breasts and (possibly) Boss Borot, you gotta go Mazinkaiser, but for KARATE KUNGFU DEMON DEATH it's Getta Tomahawk to the face. -
Getter Robo is super awesome, don't get me wrong, I think my love for Mazinger and family over the Getters is largely due to how fucking pointy those robots are, and the grill mouth. I mean, Mazinkaiser looks like he would walk up to Optimus Prime and go, "Hey you, yeah, you, with the glass chest. I'm talking to you. You call that a mouth grill? Huh? Huh?" Then Mazinkaiser pokes Optimus in the chest a few times, shoving him backwards. "No, no, you don't understand, THIS is a mouth grill. Rust hurricane, baby." And then Optimus dies. Again. For like, the 6,000th time.
Oh wait, and he has a giant sword. It's like rock, paper, scissors. Paper beats rock, and giant fucking sword beats giant fucking tomahawk, unless you're a giant Indian. Because giant swords are uh, pointier.
It's an aesthetic thing.
Also: Damn those blondes have huge boobs. Kind of catches you by suprise whenWhat is the deal with the shitty short OAV/movie sequels to really kickass shows like Kikaider and Mazinkaiser? Argh!Spoiler:they immediately and horribly die in the beginning of the really crappy Mazinkaiser movie. -

The giant sword is mighty, it requires a more elegant, dare I say feminine, touch to unleash a super move.The giant tomahawk requires the mightiest strength of the manliest robot, Getter Robo, to tear threw robot, dinosaur, and ooze BEFORE even using a super move.
Rocket Punches are awesome, but they are no Getter Beam. -

Furthermore, Mazinkaiser is so incredibly hardcore, he can even beat the shit out of other Mazingers, even when they've been turned into a creepy transgendered guy's kinky bondage Mazinger. Just watching that scene raises your testosterone levels so much the surgeon general advises women not to watch it unless they don't mind growing lots of hair. -
In fact, now that I think about, watching Mazinkaiser kick ass is probably what changed Baron Ashler from a woman into a she-male in the first place.

Hey guys, I found the forum from the great podcast, and decided to check it out.
A bit about me:
I am 17
I live in Canada (No, I don't have one of those god forsaken accents).
The first real anime I watched (knowingly) was Ken Akamatsu's Love Hina... I hated it. Luckily, I gave anime another shot and was introduced to Cowboy Bebop, a decent anime.
I have since then moved on, and found such favorites as Giant Robo.
I have been playing games ever since I was a young child, and two favorites stick out in my mind. Yoshi's Island for the SNES, and Super Metroid (SNES). I've also been playing the Guilty Gear series since god knows when.
So, yeah! Hopefully I can make a useful addition to your forum.
