    Don't worry, five is BETTER.

Which is Rave to the Grave?
  • I didn't really like E7. The mech designs were not really doing it for me.

I just finished Tales of Symphonia. God that game was awesome.
  • Rave to the Grave is 5. It's on my watch list!
  • Rave to the Grave.

MORE LIKE RAVE TO THE ASS.

I can't remember which movie was worse, but Rave to the Grave definitely has the more preferable, totally non-ironic title.

Too bad you missed my friggin' KICKASS RENDITION of it because you didn't show up at the karaoke barbeque, asshole.
  • Aww... <img class=" title="Crying or Very sad" />

That song is one of the greatest to do ever, due to all the impossibly high notes. That and the fact that you can barely understand him.

    Should've recorded it.
  • ....they did...*dramatic music*
  • That was just a reprise. It had not the magnanimity of the original performance.
  • It had not the magnanimity of the original performance.
I was going to point out that magnanimous means generous, but I think one of the archaic definitions could be twisted to fit your sentence.

To bring this back on topic, Shinesman is awesome. Also, I didn't realize there was even a pun in the title until a friend pointed it out to me: sha-in means salaryman or company employee.

Also, it had an opening song by Kageyama Hironobu. Damn, I have to go listen to We Gotta Power RIGHT NOW

I know what it means, the unfortunate result of in jokes is that if people don't get it just makes you look like an idiot. But that's okay, because I look like an idiot usually anyway. :?

Last week at the karaoke barbeque me and Jerry were rocking out to that very song while preparing hamburger meat.

    Pictures ensued.

  • Dude, you're always raising your fist like you've just conquered something. :?
  • My only fear is a life where I have no reason to raise my fist into the air.

To stay on topic: I just listened to Cha La Head Cha La, and it was super pump-up awesome.

Ah. Well, I found its use in basketeering (which I just watched today) pretty funny regardless.

It looks like you thrust your hand clear into the chest cavity of PURE BARBEQUE, and have ripped out its still-beating heart and are holding it aloft.
  • I must say that Pegasus Fantasy is most awesome http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ly4oBYvwElI

Soldier Dream is also cool: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjuMnsZvkKE&mode=related&search=

and the latest Op of Saint Seiya Hades Inferno is most awesome http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvK0hwyt46Y

Also Ringu Ni Kakero : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XV96ud2d_LQ

We raise our fist in hate/conquest/disgust/ etc around here once every minute. That's just how we roll.
  • Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai is out. There's so much that's completely distasteful about this show, but I still love it to death. I'll be watching the speed subs followed by a non-sucky version.
  • I just realized Ergo Proxy is on Fuse TV............so now I'm watching that.
  • UPDATE:

Currently marathoning Red Bar Radio Podcasts for the last few months
  • I started watching Victorian Romance Emma (I'm such a loser), and it looked not bad... until episode 3.

Also saw episode 1 of Wangan Midnight... Which I think is enough. It's no Initial D, that's for damn sure.
  • Wangan Midnight ? Also Drifting etc ?
  • Wangan Midnight ? Also Drifting etc ?
No, that's the problem. I don't know that the author knows anything about cars or racing or driving, he just likes drawing them. The plot is that the main character buys a souped-up 240Z that's killed its previous owners, and yet has survived the crashes without being totaled, and manages to ensnare a new owner (The "Devil Z" they call it) There's no climactic battles, they just both floor it on a highway, and maybe one of them will crash or something because of the "curse" or they didn't believe in themselves or something.

I read a page of the manga where he crashed for some reason, and his concerned girlfriend was like "Oh NOOH it's the curse!!" But he walks out all bloody and is like "It was me, I screwed up, there's no curse! Durr, I should have worn my seat belt!" Initial D is a lot like Hajime no Ippou, in that it has that veneer of realism and clear knowledge of the sport. Characters wear 4-point racing harnesses and drive with knowledge of turbochargers or slip angles or whatever. The author of Wangan Midnight probably knows as much about racing as your average Fast and the Furious fan.

Lots of pretty CG shots of the 240Z though, which is a favorite of mine.
  • OMG 240Z's are sexxxxxxxx !!! Speaking of Initial D , my brother and I spent like $70 at the Initial D V3 arcade racer last week.

Oh yeah and Uhmm Wangan is where all the Japanese Big Boys have their underground drag races.I've got clips from races from there.
  • I'm reanimating this thread because I just rediscovered my Minor Threat Complete Discography CD. Man, I was and apparently am a pretty angry dude.
